What is Childcare Matters?

Childcare Matters is a one-stop website for all childcare and early years professionals, whether registered or unregistered. The site is also for parents who use any form of registered or unregistered childcare or are thinking of using childcare but don’t know where to start or go about it. Childcare Matters is based in London, England.

Why is the website called Childcare Matters?

Because childcare does matter, both to the professional people who work in the children’s care sector and to the parents who rely on childcare for their children.

Who is behind Childcare Matters?

James Tweed, a journalist who has been writing about the early years and childcare sector for more than 14 years. His work has appeared in the UK's leading trade childcare and early years magazines, as well as national newspapers. James has also been interviewed about childcare- and child-related matters on radio and national television. He founded and owns Childcare Matters, which he runs independently.
